Terms & Conditions

This contest is open to all Malaysians with a valid National Registration Identification Card (NRIC) number (12-digit) at the time of participation of the Contest.

Entry forms can be obtained at all major hypermarkets, shops and participating pharmacies. Photocopied entry forms are acceptable.

Contest runs from 1st June to 31st July 2013. Entry forms received after 31st July 2013 will not be entertained.

Contestants who submit online will be required to mail in their original receipts if their entry/entries have been shortlisted.

Contestants must fill in all the required details on the form. Forms with incomplete or incorrect details may be disqualified.

Employees and immediate family members of the Organiser, their advertising agencies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and suppliers of Code 10 Malaysia are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

Contestants have to count the number of Code 10 Shampoo bottles in a picture, and complete a simple slogan. Completed forms with the correct answer and the most interesting slogan will be deemed the winners, as decided by a Panel constituted by Code 10 Malaysia. Contestants may submit as many forms as they wish. Only one entry per receipt.

Decisions made by the Organiser/Panel will be final and binding. Code 10 Malaysia is not required to share the process of inclusion, exclusion or selection of candidates and winners for the contest.

All winners will be notified by phone. Prizes will be delivered to winners via courier service.

Code 10 Malaysia will not claim any responsibility for loss/theft of property and/or accident/injury to the winners arising out of unforeseen circumstances relating to the Contest or the collecting of prizes.

The Organiser reserves the right to change any prize, for a prize of equal value, without any prior notification. Prizes cannot be exchanged/encashed, and will not be transferred to another person.

By participating in this contest, the Contestant is taken to have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and shall adhere to all and/or any decision made by the Organiser.

The Organiser reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions without prior notification. Altered terms and conditions are effective immediate upon publication.


The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to use the details collected, nicknames, names, photographs, voice or voice recordings and entries of the Contest winner(s) and/or representative without first obtaining consent nor making any payment whatsoever to the Contest winner(s) and/or representatives for publicity, advertising, trade or promotion purposes in any media.

Contestants releases any rights to any information and materials submitted or used in the Contest to the Organiser.

CODE10 processes personal data that it collects through the application. The following categories of personal data are collected:

Identification number
Other information that you enter on forms on the application (email, mobile phone number, etc.)
Any personal data included in content you upload on the application.

To offer you online games as displayed on the application

To send you information regarding any current or future activities of CODE10. If legally required, CODE10 will obtain your permission, before sending you such information.

Appendix 2 – Facebook Connect Application
The CODE10 Facebook application will run from MAY 2013 to JULY 2013. The application hereby referred to as the Contest, is a contest requiring participants to watch count the number of Code 10 products in an image and fill in their details to win.

The Contest is open only to Malaysian citizens over the age of 18 in the country. There is no purchase required to join the contest.

Important Notes
Prizes are limited to only the first two hundred correct and completed submissions.

The Organiser reserves the right to request the winners of the Contest to cooperate in any form of publicity associated with the Contest, including the use of any film and photo material portraying the winner whereby the interests of the winners will be reasonably taken into account.

Winners will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for any such publicity or otherwise. All and any materials, including publicity materials, will be the sole property of the Organiser.

If the Participant submits materials whether consisting of text, images, photos, film or otherwise, the Organiser shall be entitled to use, copy and/or commercially use such materials to the fullest extent and free of charge. The Organiser shall not be bound by any confidentiality obligation in respect of such materials.

No correspondence will be entered into concerning the results of the Contest.

The Organiser is not responsible or liable for breakdowns in and/or errors in or relating to the internet, one or more of the websites which is used in the course of offering the Contest, the (telephone, cable or any other relevant) network, software or hardware, or for any erroneous entry and/or processing of promotional codes. The Organiser excludes all liability in this respect.

Neither the Organiser nor its servants or agents can be held liable at any time for actions arising from this Contest.

In no circumstances can the Organiser be held liable for any loss or damage caused by or connected with this Contest or the prizes to be awarded by the Organiser or otherwise. All liabilities of the Organiser in connection with this Contest are excluded.

Concluding provisions
Nothing in or relating to this Contest may be reproduced or published without the Organiser’s express consent.

No rights can be derived from this Contest or the results thereof.
