1001 Ideas for 2 Contest Terms & Conditions

  1. The 1001 Ideas for 2 Contest (“the Contest”) is an online contest conducted at by Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad (DLMI), (“the Organiser”).
  2. 1001 Ideas for 2 Contest allows you to post content on the Service, including photos, comments, and other materials. Anything that you post, upload, or otherwise make available on our Service, including all Intellectual Property Rights (defined below) in such content, is referred to as “User Content.” You retain all of your rights in all of the User Content you post to our Service.
  3. When we refer to “Intellectual Property Rights” in these Terms, we mean all patent rights; copyright rights; moral rights; rights of publicity; trademark, trade dress and service mark rights (and associated goodwill); trade secret rights; and all other intellectual property and proprietary rights as may now exist or hereafter come into existence, and all applications for any of these rights and registrations, renewals and extensions of any of these rights, in each case under the laws of any state, country, territory or other jurisdiction.
Entry & Participation
  1. This Contest is open to all Residents of Malaysia who are 18 years old and older. However, all employees of the Organiser, its affiliates and/or subsidiaries, advertising agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members are not eligible to join the Contest.
  2. Registration as a member on the Growing Up Together Club is mandatory for an entry to this Contest.
  3. Participants can submit as many ideas as they wish. The more ideas they submit, the higher their chances of winning.
  4. Participants can only submit pictures of their child aged 13 months and above .
  5. All text submissions to this Contest are subjected to the given word limit (25 characters for the Title & 400 characters for the description, both of which include spacing).
  6. Participants must own the rights of usage of all photo submissions.
  7. All photo submissions to this Contest are subjected to the maximum capacity (4MB).
  8. All photo submissions through iPhone are subjected to be done through the following steps:If the photo submitted from iPhone meets the Terms & Conditions, the photo will be uploaded to the Participant’s designated entry within two working days.

  9. The Organizer reserves the right to use any original photo submissions for promotional purposes.
  10. All submissions to this Contest will be made available to the public and hence is subjected to intellectual theft. Complains and enquiries on intellectual theft will not be entertained by the Organiser.
  11. Participants shall assume full responsibility in case of any accident, injury, damage or claim resulting from participation of this contest.
  12. By participating in this Contest, Participants agree to be bound by the official Rules and Regulations and decisions of Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad.
  13. All submissions must be in English.
Contest Mechanics
  1. How to enter
    1. Click on “Submit an idea” to join. Get started by logging in / registering first.
    2. Write a title for the idea.
    3. Describe what both mommy and child can do in the proposed activity.
    4. Upload a picture to accompany the idea. An idea with a picture has better chances of winning.
    5. After you agree to the Terms and Conditions, simply click “Submit” to send in your idea.
  2. Judging Criteria
    1. All entries will be judged by a panel of judges as chosen by the Organiser.
    2. Entries will be judged based on the title, description and picture.
    3. Ideas must include both mother and child’s participation.
    4. Ideas must embrace the spirit of Growing Up Together, in the sense both mother and child will learn together from the experience itself.
    5. The more creative the idea, the higher the chances of winning.
  3. Winners
    1. There will be a Weekly Winner x 8 weeks.
    2. The Weekly Winner will be announced on the following week. For an example, the Weekly Winner for Week 1 will be announced sometime on Week 2.
    3. Participants can be picked as a Weekly Winner only once during the entire Contest Period.
    4. There will be only one Grand Prize Winner.
    5. All Participants stand a chance to be the Grand Prize Winner, regardless if a Participant is a Weekly Winner or not.
  1. The prize for each Weekly Winner is
    1. RM200 cash + 1 free tin of Friso® Mum Gold / Friso® Gold 3 / Friso® Gold 4
  2. The prize for the Grand Prize winner is;The Prize delivery will be sent via courier. The Organiser will not be responsible for the failure to contact the Winner or receiving of the Contest Prize or any Contest related notifications owing to providing accurate information, no response from winner or negligence of courier company.
    1. RM2,500 cash + 1 exclusive hamper from Friso®
  3. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the Contest Prize with another prize of equivalent value without any prior notice.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to deny the Contest Prize to anyone who is believed to have cheated in any form or manner or who has provided fictitious information.
Rights of the Organiser
  1. By submitting their entries to this Contest, Participants hereby agree to allow the Organiser the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, transmit, publicly display the submitted materials.
  2. The Organiser reserves the right to use all the submitted materials from Participants without having to oblige to any charges.
  3. By participating in this Contest, Participants consent to give their personal information and the Organiser reserves the right to publish, use the winners’ names and/or photographs plus their entries for purposes of publicity, advertising and/or trade without further compensation or notice and each Participant is not entitled to make any claims for the use of their entries by the Organiser.
  4. The Organiser shall not be liable for any disruption to the Contest, whether due to technical problems, line connectivity or otherwise, which is beyond its reasonable control. In the event of disruption to the Contest, reasonable efforts shall be used to remedy the disruption and resume the Contest on a fair and equitable basis to the Participants.
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Contest without any prior notice. For avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organiser of the Contest shall not entitle the Participant to any claim or compensation against the Organiser for any and all losses or damages which may be suffered or incurred by the Participant as a direct or an indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
  6. The Organiser reserves the right to change the Contest Period at any time.
  7. The Organiser reserves the right to delay the timing of the publication of the winners of The Contest.
  8. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entrants and any related entries should there be suspicions or knowledge of fraudulent or illegal activity or violation of the general terms and conditions.
  9. The Organiser may at its absolute discretion amend the terms and conditions set herein at any time without any prior notice, and the Participants shall be bound to such amendments.
  10. The Organiser reserves the right, in our sole discretion to edit, refuse to post, or remove any content for reasons including but not limited to;The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    1. In need of editing for grammar
    2. Spelling or overall readability, offensive, abusive or uncivil in tone
    3. Contains software viruses or any other malicious code
    4. Files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment
    5. Is off topic
    6. Is inappropriate or undesirable for the Contest page
    7. Contain images or contents on infant and/or designated products that violate the Code of Ethics for the Marketing of Infant Foods and Related products (from Ministry of Health Malaysia). Infant refers to any person up to twelve (12) months of age. Designated products here refer to:
      1. infant formula (for infants 0-12 months) including ready-to-feed formula;
      2. follow-up formula (for infants 6 months to 3 years) including ready-to-feed formula;
      3. special formula (infant or follow-up formula for special dietary or medical purposes) including ready-to-feed formula;
      4. any other products represented or marketed for feeding infants up to the age of 6 months;
      5. feeding bottle;
      6. teat and pacifier
    8. Contain any manners of promoting directly or indirectly on designated products in the Contest.
  11. The Organiser may at its absolute discretion amend the terms and conditions set herein at any time without any prior notice, and the Participants shall be bound to such amendments.
