Malaysians stand a chance to win exciting holiday packages of a lifetime when they participate in Chevron Malaysia Limited’s ‘Caltex Amazing Experience’ contest. The lucky winners are promised ‘amazing holiday experiences to savour for a lifetime’ and will not only get to visit great destinations but also experience a cultural extravaganza.
From exotic African tribal fare to the rich Oriental culture of Japan, the winners and their partners will be able to experience the unique culture of one of five holiday destinations: Africa, Italy, Japan, New Zealand and Egypt.
“The ‘Caltex Amazing Experience’ is not your normal holiday but promises an adventure not to forget,” said Mokhtar Ali Ismail, Chevron’s Policy, Government and Public Affairs Manager for Malaysia and Cambodia. “It’s a dream holiday that one will be taken far away from the usual holiday and given a fun and unique experience.”

The contest began on December 15 2008 and will close on March 31 2009. It is open to all customers who purchase a minimum of RM50 of fuel at a Caltex station or RM50 of purchases at a Caltex Starmart which will entitle them to one entry. Customers who complete the entries are eligible to win one of the five ‘Caltex Amazing Experience’ holiday packages for two.
Each package for two includes return air flights, accommodation, transfers, guided tours and RM2,000 in cash. Respective lucky winners will stay and dine in style and enjoy treatment said to be ‘fit for kings’. Exciting once-in-a-lifetime opportunities include a romantic gondola ride in Venice, a wild safari excursion in Africa, a hot air balloon ride in New Zealand, a Nile Cruise in Egypt and a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji in Japan.
Apart from the five Grand Prizes, 60 customers will also stand to win cash prizes of RM1,000 each every month for three consecutive months.
Earlier, Chevron Malaysia also had the “Win RM2 Million Worth of Prizes” contest gave away 100 units of Sony LCD TVs, 20 units of Sony Home Theatre systems, 20 units of Sony MP3 Players, 20 units of Sony PSPs, 20 units of Sony digital cameras, 20 units of Sony handphones, and 20 units of Sony Vaio laptops. Some 1,600,000 Caltex premiums were also given away weekly to lucky Caltex customers who spent RM40 and above in a single receipt (a full list of winners is available at Caltex service stations nationwide).
