IF you are planning to buy a camera, head on to CamWorld, a new camera and photo imaging chain that has recently opened at the new Sutera Mall in Taman Sutera Utama, Johor Baru.
CLASSY: The new CamWorld outlet at the newly-opened Sutera Mall.
In conjunction with the shop’s opening, Foto Ana manager, Thomas Liew, said there would be a month-long promotion for customers that includes an interest-free instalment plan for all camera brands and other photography accessories.
Those who buy now will also enjoy a 30 per cent discount on photo processing until Aug 31.
Liew said Foto Ana’s franchisor, CamWorld, was also organising a photography competition with the support of Fujifilm, Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, Kodak and Samsung.
The photo contest, jointly organised by the Johor Photographic Society, will be held at the Sutera Mall from Aug 8 to Aug 12.
The entry has to be a print in 8″ x 10″ size and processed at Foto Ana.
“The organiser has yet to finalise the details of the contest, but the prizes are worth a total of RM3,000, and prizes for the top three places are sponsored by Fujifilm,” he said.
There are also a few “hot buy” items for fans of Canon models during the promotion where selected cameras, DVD camcorders and photo printers are offered at special prices.
The shop, which offers wireless Internet service network access, is open from 10am to 10pm.
