“Win Cash with CIMB Clicks eRemittance” Contest Terms & Conditions
1. “Win Cash with CIMB Clicks eRemittance” Contest (“Contest”) will run from 8th October 2008 to 31st December 2008, both dates inclusive (“Contest Period”).
2. This contest is applicable to all CIMB deposit account holders (“account holder”). To be eligible to participate the account holder will need to perform the online remittance transaction through CIMB Clicks eRemittance and effected through the Western Union® Money Transfer service.
3. An eligible participant (“Eligible Participant”) is defined as a CIMB Clicks customer who performs the online remittance transactions through CIMB Clicks eRemittance and effected through the Western Union® Money Transfer service within the Contest Period.
4. The following parties shall not be eligible to participate in this Contest:

a. Partnerships, Charitable/Non-profit Organizations/Societies, Corporate and Commercial Customers; or
b. Permanent and/or contract employees of CIMB (including its subsidiaries and related companies) and their immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); or
c. Representatives and/or agents (including advertising & promotion agents and technology vendors) of CIMB and their immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters); or
d. Individuals below the age of 18 years.
5. The following prizes (“Prizes”) are to be given away under this Contest:

5.1 Early Bird Prizes

5.1.1 During the Contest Period, the Eligible Participant will stand a chance to win RM50.00 cash prize.
5.1.2 There will be fifty (50) Early Bird Prizes to be given away.
5.1.3 The selection of the Early Bird Prizes is based on the first 50 participants (based on date and time) who perform CIMB Clicks eRemittance transaction for any amount (in Ringgit equivalent) through the Western Union Money Transfer within the Contest Period.

5.2 Monthly Prizes
5.2.1 There will be three (3) Monthly Prizes given out each month for the months of October, November and December 2008 of which a cash prize of RM2,000.00 will be credited to each winning account holder’s account.
5.2.2

There will be total of nine (9) Monthly Prizes given out within the Contest Period.
5.2.3 The selection of the Monthly Prize winners is based on the participants who send the highest accumulated CIMB Clicks eRemittance transaction amount (in Ringgit equivalent) and effected through the Western Union Money Transfer service for each month respectively to win for one monthly prize per month.
5.2.4 In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected based on the highest accumulated number of CIMB Clicks eRemittance transactions performed through the Western Union Money Transfer service.
5.2.5 The monthly contest period is as follows:

• 1st October to 31st October 2008
• 1st November to 30th November 2008
• 1st December to 31st December 2008
(Both dates of each month are inclusive)

5.3 Grand Prize
5.3.1 The winner of the Grand Prize will win RM10,000.00 cash prize.
5.3.2 The selection of the Grand Prize winner is based on the participant who sent the highest accumulated transaction amount (in Ringgit equivalent) with minimum three (3) CIMB Clicks eRemittance transactions performs through the Western Union Money Transfer service within the Contest Period.
5.3.3

In the event of a tie, winner will be selected based on the highest accumulated number of CIMB Clicks eRemittance transactions performed through the Western Union Money Transfer service within the Contest Period.
6. The maximum number of prizes that an Eligible Participant stands to win under this Contest is one (1) Early Bird Reward and/or three (3) Monthly Prizes and/or one (1) Grand Prize.
7. The cash prizes will be credited to the winners’ CIMB Savings or Current Account that the account holder withdrew from to perform the CIMB Clicks eRemittance transaction through the Western Union Money Transfer service.
8. In the event that an account holder withdrew from different CIMB Savings or Current Accounts for multiple CIMB Clicks eRemittance transactions, the cash prize will be credited to the most recent account that the account holder withdrew the funds from, subject to CIMB’s discretion.
9. All cash prizes will be credited to the winner’s CIMB Savings or Current Account within one month after the end of the Contest Period or at any reasonable time that the CIMB deem fit.
10. Cash prizes are not exchangeable for any gifts.
11. The promotion offers for eRemittance transaction through Western Union Money Transfer for “Win Cash with CIMB Clicks eRemittance” Contest (“Contest”) is different from promotion offers over the counter at CIMB Bank branches.

General

12. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CIMB expressly excludes and disclaims any representations, warranties, or endorsements, express or implied, written or oral, including but not limited to any warranty of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose in respect of the Prizes.
13. In no event will CIMB be liable for any loss or damages (including without limitation, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Contest, even if CIMB has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, and all such damages are expressly excluded.
14. Winners shall be determined by CIMB’s panel of judges whose decision shall be final and conclusive. No correspondence, queries, appeals or protests will be entertained.
15. All winners will be notified by telephone and/or mail. Names of the winners will also be posted on http://www.cimbclicks.com. The final decisions on the selection of winner(s) will be final and no inquiries and correspondence will be entertained.
16. CIMB reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest with or without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by CIMB of this Contest shall not entitle the eligible Participant to any claim or compensation against CIMB for any losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participant as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
17. CIMB reserves the right at its absolute discretion to amend, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
18. These Terms and Conditions, as the same may be amended from time to time pursuant to Clause 12 above, shall prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials advertising this Contest.
19. The winners of the Contest may be required to attend and participate in a prize-giving ceremony and/or other related events organized by CIMB, if any. Should the winners fail to attend such ceremonies and/or events, CIMB reserves the right to forfeit the Prizes.
20. CIMB reserves the right to publish or display the name, picture, identification numbers and city of residence, photographs or other information of the Grand Prize Winner and/or the Weekly Prize Winners and/or the Early Bird Prize Winners of this Contest for advertising and publicity.
21. By participating in this Contest, the winners hereby consent to and agree that CIMB shall be at liberty to publish or display the names, identification numbers, photographs or other information on the winners for advertisement or publicity purposes.
22. By participating in this Contest, each Eligible Participant is deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any decisions of CIMB.
23. If there is any inconsistency (ies), conflict(s), ambiguity (ies) or discrepancy (ies) between the Bahasa Malaysia version and the English version of these Terms & Conditions, the English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
24. CIMB’s decision on all matters relating to this Contest and in case of any dispute is final and binding on all Eligible Participants of this Contest and no correspondence will be entertained.
