DESCRIPTION:
We would like to encourage people to participate in fireworks photography !! Enjoy this great event and join this challenge. This contest starts from 12th August 2008, and ends on 30th September 2008. Any entries that submitted after Malaysia’s timezone, (UTC+8) 11:59pm 30th September 2008 will be disqualified for the contest.

Theme/Title : Malaysia International Fireworks Competition 2008
Contest Submission Period : 12th August - 30th September 2008
Voting Period : 7th October - 15th October 2008
PP Limitations: Basic (Colour/Curves/Brightness/Sharpen - no selective editing, no photo-manipulation)
Submission: Create your own thread in the MIFC 2008 Challenge with the title as “MIFC 2008 Challenge - Your Picture Title”
* Only ONE thread per user per contest

Rules :
1. The images submitted must be taken throughout MIFC 2008 event days. Images taken from other sources will not be accepted.
2. EXIF information for the image must be intact to retrieve photo information.
3. Write a short description of your photo, as well as a title/name for it when submitting your image.
4. Images must be uploaded via the d2mx.net image submission form, click here
5. Supported image formats : .jpg , .jpeg , .png .gif. Maximum size of 500KB.
6. Images must not contain borders and watermarks.
7. Images dimension must be 800px (800 pixels) on the longer side. No larger or smaller.
8. Only ONE submission for each user. You may resubmit within the contest period.
9. In case of re-submission, please delete the old image link by editing your old submission thread. Only ONE thread per user per contest
10. d2mx.net will reserve the right to repost the images on the d2mx.net Fantastic Photo Gallery.
11. Photographer will retain all other copyrights of the images.
12. The moderating team have the right to accept or to reject any submission without prior notice or explanation.

How it works :

After the closing date of each contest, 10 photos will be selected by the Forum’s Admin Team.
These 10 photos will be posted on a new thread for the public voting for 1 week.
The photo that get most of the vote will win the contest and will be posted on the d2mx.net Fantastic Photo Gallery.
