DESCRIPTION:
KUALA LUMPUR: Visitors to the Matta Fair in September stand a chance to win an around-the-world trip for two.

“We want to do something different this time.

“With the increase in the petrol price, we decided that instead of a car, we could give the winners an opportunity to see the world,” said Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) deputy president Datuk Mohd Khalid Harun.

He said the promotions available at the fair would convince the public that they could still enjoy travelling with their loved ones despite rising living costs.

For the first time, Matta will give a RM1,000 discount to early bird exhibitors who register before June 20 as a way to help members.

The fair will run from Sept 5 to 7 at the Putra World Trade Centre with a RM3 admission fee.

The Star is the official newspaper for the fair.
