Terma & Syarat

1) Eligibility & Contest Period

a) The “Astro Ceria/Fantastic 4:Rise of the Silver Surfer Contest” (”Contest”) shall be held from 22nd May 2007 to 8th June 2007 and is open to Malaysian children who are under the age of 14 years old and reside in Klang Valley and Selangor (”Contestant”).

b) Employees of Astro All Asia Networks plc, Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn. Bhd. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (”Astro”), sponsors, agencies, dealers, retailers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

c) Contestants under the age of eighteen (1Cool must seek parental and/or guardian approval before participating in the Contest. Astro considers it the responsibility of parents and/or guardian to monitor their children’s participation in this Contest.

d) Astro may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the period at any time without giving any prior notice. Your participation in the Contest during the extended period shall be governed by this Contest’s Terms and Conditions.

2) Contest Mechanics

a) The Contestant is required to answer the following question correctly:

Who is the new character in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer?

i) Silver Surfer

ii) Ceria Surfer

iii) Beach Surfer

b) And complete a slogan in not more than 15 words:

“Astro Ceria is “Fantastic” because.”

3) Contest Entries

a) Contestants must submit their Contest entries to via postal mail or email and all Contest entries must reach Astro on or before 9th June 2007.

d) Contestant is required to provide the following details with their Contest entries:

i) Full Name (as in Birth Cert or NRIC);

ii) Parent’s Full Name;

iii) Parent’s new NRIC number;

iv) Correspondence Address; and

v) Contact number (s) - Home, Office, Mobile Phone (at least one contact number must be furnished)

e) Contestants shall bear its’ own Internet Service Provider (ISP) charges and all other related costs in submitting the Contest entries to Astro.

4) Number of Entries

a) Each Contestant shall only be allowed to submit one (1) Contest form only. Multiple Contest entries will not be accepted. If there are multiple Contest entries, the first entry received will be treated as the valid Contest’s entry.

5) Contest Entries

a) Contestants must ensure that their names and Contest details are complete and accurate. Incomplete, illegible or late entries shall be disqualified.

b) Astro reserves the right to reject any entry at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reasons whatsoever

c) All Contest entries must be submitted in English. Contest entries in any other languages will be rejected by Astro

6) Adherance to Contest Ts & Cs

a) All Contestants shall be required to adhere to this Contest’s Terms and Conditions. Astro reserves the right to forfeit the prize(s) in the event any of the Contest Terms and Conditions is not adhered to.

7) Judges Decision is Final

a) The Judge’s decision is final and binding. No correspondence shall be entertained.

Cool Notification of Contest Results

a) The Contest’s winners will be listed on the website before the 4 November 2006.

b) Contest winners will be required to give their contact details, I.C No., Astro account number and any other details deemed necessary and relevant by Astro, at its sole discretion, upon receiving the request/notification from Astro.

c) Astro reserves the right to forfeit prizes for any Contest winner who does not provide the required details upon receiving the request/notification from Astro.

d) Astro reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of Contest winners and to fulfil the delivery of prizes and Contestants agree that Astro may provide all necessary information of Contest winners to such third party to facilitate such service.
