  1. What is OCS Winback Program?
    OCS Winback is a program designed to increase new Celcom Online Customer Service (OCS) sign-ups and encourage existing OCS customers to use the self-service portal. The program offers customers a chance to win prizes by making the required transaction(s) via OCS.

    Online Customer Service introduced to its OCS users a new feature, e-Billing options.

    E-Billing is a service offered to the customers to view and print their bill online via Online Customer Service (OCS). OCS offers customers an option to choose their preferred bill delivery either via printed/hard copy or via online.

    Once customers opt for e-billing service:

    • Customers will be able to view/print their bills online (last 3 month bills) via Online Customer Service.
    • Customer will be able to send their bills in PDF format to their emails via OCS.
    • Save time and money by giving rebate of RM5.00 to customers
    • Faster cycle time of receiving/checking their bills
  2. When is the promotion period? 
    This promotion will run from 15th March until 31st December 2012.
  3. Who is eligible to take part? 
    This promotion is applicable to new and existing Celcom Online Customer Service (OCS) users/customers.
  4. How do I participate?
    Postpaid and Broadband Customers To be eligible for the prizes, you must:

    1. Customer MUST an active account(s) and no call bar action; and
    2. Customer MUST enrol to Online Customer Service; and
    3. Customer MUST makes a full settlement of the postpaid/broadband bill of the current month and for every subsequent month via OCS during the Promotion Period; and
    4. Customer subscribes to e-billing for postpaid/broadband services
    Prepaid Customers To be eligible for the prizes, you must:

    1. Customer MUST an active prepaid account(s); and
    2. Customer shall perform a minimum reload RM50.00 for eighteen (18) times during the Promotion Period; and
    3. Customer shall perform any transaction in the OCS.

  6. How are the winners selected?
    Celcom will randomly shortlist the eligible customers who have successfully met all criteria as outlined in the Promotion Mechanics.
  7. When will the winners be notified?
    Winners will be contacted via phone the week after the winning entries have been selected by the system.
  8. How do I redeem the prize?
    Collection of the prizes will be held during Online Customer Service prizes giving ceremony.

Terms and Conditions

The Promotion is held by Celcom Mobile Sdn Bhd (27910-A). By participating in this Promotion, the Customer hereby agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions which will form an integral part and to be read together with the terms and conditions of Celcom’s postpaid or broadband or prepaid service offered and relevant to the Customer in respect to this Promotion.

In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of Celcom’s postpaid or broadband or prepaid service, such inconsistency shall be resolved by giving precedence in the following decreasing order (i) these terms and conditions (ii) terms and conditions of Celcom’s postpaid or broadband or prepaid service. Promotion Period
This Promotion shall commence from 15th March 2012 until 31st December 2012 (“Promotion Period”). Any extension thereof shall be subject to Celcom’s sole discretion.

Eligibility
This Promotion shall only be applicable to new and existing Celcom postpaid or broadband customers with an active account without a call bar action and Celcom prepaid customers with sufficient credit who subscribes to the Online Customer Service (OCS) (“Customers”). For the avoidance of doubt, this Promotion shall not be applicable to Celcom or its related corporations’ staff and employee and customers of Celcom’s Corporate and Enterprise Plans.

Promotion Mechanics

  1. There are two (2) categories by which the Customer may participate in this Promotion during the Promotion Period as listed below (“Category”):
    1. for Postpaid and Broadband Customers:
      1. the Customer shall make a full settlement of the Customer’s postpaid/broadband bill of the current month and for every subsequent month via OCS during the Promotion Period; and
      2. the Customer shall subscribe to e-billing service for the postpaid/ broadband service.
    2. for Prepaid Customers:
      1. the Customer shall perform a minimum reload RM50.00 for more than eighteen (18) times during the Promotion Period; and
      2. the Customer shall perform any transaction in the OCS.
  2. Celcom shall identify 315 customers who fulfill the criteria as prescribed in Clause 1 above as the winners (“Winners”).
  3. The Winners shall stand a chance to win the following prizes (“Prizes”) based on the number of transaction performed by the Winners in the OCS in a decreasing order:
    1. one (1) unit of Hyundai i10 (“Grand Prize”);
    2. one (1) unit of Vespa LX 150 (“First Prize”);
    3. two (2) units of 42 inch Samsung TV;
    4. six (6) units of Samsung Galaxy Note;
    5. two (2) units of HP210 Netbook;
    6. three (3) units of Fixie Bike; and
    7. three hundred (300) units of Rebate or Reload vouchers worth RM50.00,
  4. Winners shall be contacted by Celcom via their respective Celcom mobile number as registered on the OCS of their entitlement to win the Prize (“Notification”). The Winners shall provide their respective full name, address and NRIC number to Celcom upon such Notification.
  5. Celcom shall not be held responsible or liable in the event that the Winners cannot be contacted for any reason whatsoever. In the event that Celcom is unable to contact the Winner after three (3) attempts, the said Winner shall be automatically be disqualified and shall be replaced by another Winner which shall be selected from the pool of Shortlisted Customers.
  6. The Winners shall receive a Short Messaging Service (SMS) (“Prize Notification”) and a Prize redemption letter (“Redemption Letter”) from Celcom which shall include the location and time for the Prize redemption.
  7. The Winner shall be entitled to redeem the Prize at the time and location prescribed at in the Prize Notification within thirty (30) days from the expiry of the Promotion Period (“Redemption Period”) subject to the following:
    1. the Winner shall produce the Redemption Letter and the Customer’s Identity Card for verification purposes during the Prize redemption, failing which, Celcom reserves the right to forfeit the Prize;
    2. in the event that the Winner is unable to redeem the Prize personally the Winner’s representative shall produce a letter of authorisation from the Winner for the redemption of the Prize;
    3. the Winner’s account shall remain active and payment of all bills must be up to date to be eligible to redeem the Prize, failing which, Celcom reserves the right to forfeit the Prize.
  8. All unclaimed Prizes shall be forfeited within fourteen (14) days of expiry of the Redemption Period.
  9. All Prizes are given on an “As Is” basis and are not exchangeable for cash, credit, other items or voucher, in part or in full. Celcom reserves the right to substitute and replace the Prize offered with another Prize of equal value or higher value as Celcom deems fit.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. Celcom reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend and/or alter any part or the whole terms and conditions in relation to this Promotion at any time without giving any prior notice to the Customers and the Customers agree to be bound by those changes.
  2. Celcom’s decisions in any matter in relation to the Promotion shall be final and conclusive. Any request for appeal and review shall not be entertained.
  3. The Rewards are not transferable. Celcom reserves the right to substitute and replace the Rewards offered with another Reward of equal or higher value.
  4. Celcom shall not be liable for any claims by the Customers or third-party claims or loses of any nature, including but not limited to, loss of profits, punitive, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or for other damages and any related claims of any nature, including direct, indirect, third party, consequential or other damages resulting from or in connection with this Promotion.
  5. Celcom shall not be responsible or liable for any claims of loss or damage to property or any personal injury or loss of life resulting from or in connection with this Promotion.
  6. Customer acknowledges and agrees that Celcom reserves the rights to disqualify any participation if Customer is in breach of its obligations or any terms and conditions of this Promotion. Notwithstanding the above, Celcom reserves the right to reject any participation of the Customer at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reasons whatsoever.
  7. Celcom does not take any responsibility in the case of an event that may prevent the Customer from participating in the Promotion, as a result of certain technical restrictions or other limitations specific or force majeure which include but not limited to regulatory events, government directive, government intervention and act of God etc.
  8. Celcom reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, and the Customer agrees that Celcom may use the names, photographs, voice or video recordings and entries of the Customer and/or the Customer without first obtaining any consent nor making any payment whatsoever to the Customer or for publicity, advertising, trade or promotion purposes in any media.
  9. All photographs, personal information and names submitted in the Promotion, service marks, trade names, trademarks are the property of Celcom.
